1. What Youtopia is
Youtopia is an app for organising group trips: itinerary, shared expenses, polls, lists, documents, maps and an AI assistant (Yupi). By creating an account or using the app you accept these terms and the privacy policy.
2. Your account
- You must be at least 14 and give accurate details when signing up.
- You're responsible for keeping your account secure and for what's done with it.
- You can delete your account at any time (how).
3. Your content and your group
What you add (plans, expenses, lists, documents, messages) remains yours. You allow us to store it and show it to the people in your trip, only to provide the service. When you invite someone or share a trip code, that person can see and, depending on their role, edit the trip.
Don't upload illegal or offensive content, content you have no right to share, or other people's data without their permission.
4. Acceptable use
Don't use Youtopia to spam, harass others, try to access other people's data, overload the service or reverse-engineer it for unlawful purposes. We may suspend accounts that break these rules.
5. Yupi and information in the app
Yupi generates automatic suggestions with artificial intelligence and can make mistakes: times, prices, opening hours or recommendations may be inaccurate or outdated. The same applies to weather, exchange rates, routes and place data, which come from third-party services. Always check important information before travelling or paying.
Expense calculations are a helper for the group; payments between members happen outside the app and are each person's responsibility.
6. Third-party services
The app uses third-party services (maps, Google sign-in, weather…) and may include links to booking sites. Those services have their own terms and we aren't responsible for them.
7. Price
Youtopia is free. If we add paid features in the future, we'll explain them clearly before you pay anything, and what's free today will keep working.
8. Availability and changes
We work to keep the app running, but there may be outages or bugs. We may improve, change or remove features. If we change these terms in an important way, we'll let you know in advance.
9. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, Youtopia is provided "as is" and we aren't liable for indirect damages from its use, such as travel costs, lost bookings or decisions based on the app's suggestions. Nothing here limits your rights under consumer law.
